About

Wallhalla is a catalogue of wallpapers added a few at a time, by hand. Nothing here is scraped. Every image is made for the site, then chosen, cropped and named before it appears, and each one keeps a permanent number so it can always be found again.

Most of the catalogue is widescreen because most screens are. The ones that are not are still shown whole: every wallpaper carries a focal point, and the crop on any screen is anchored on it.

A small admin panel drives generation, upscaling and tagging. A person does the picking. Wallpapers that look generated say so in their caption, with an AI mark — outright generations and hybrids alike, a hybrid being an AI base that a person then retouched or finished. The rest are drawn, photographed or built in the usual ways.

Files are stored at their native size and served in the resolution your screen asks for, so a 5K download is a 5K download and a laptop does not wait for it.

Everything is free to download. No account, no watermark, no email. Wallpapers marked AI are free to use for anything, personal or commercial — a mention is appreciated and never required. The rest are for personal use. The detail page always says which applies.
